Most cabling problems are not cable problems. They are termination, labelling and documentation problems that show up two years later when nobody can work out which port goes where. We install to AS/CA S009, test every run, and hand over a labelled patch schedule with the results.

Pricing and site assessment

Every cabling job is different. The number of outlets, cable type, run lengths, ceiling and wall access, and whether a new data cabinet is needed all affect the work involved, so we quote each project individually after assessing the site.

A minimum site fee of $199 inc. GST applies for an on-site visit to evaluate the installation. If you go ahead with the project, the $199 is deducted from your final invoice.

Questions we get asked

Do I need Cat6 or Cat6A?

For most offices Cat6 is the right answer and Cat6A is money you will not get back. Cat6A earns its keep on long runs, high-density WiFi backhaul and anything you expect to push 10 gigabit over. We will tell you which one your site actually needs.

Will you certify the cabling?

Yes. Every run is tested and you get the results. If a landlord, insurer or auditor asks for evidence the cabling was done to standard, you have it on file.
