What we collect
If you send an enquiry through this website, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, business name, suburb and a description of the job.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Why we collect it
Only to quote and carry out the work you asked about, and to contact you about it. If we quote a job and you go elsewhere, that is the end of it — we will not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for as long as we are required to — installation records, test results and asset registers can be needed years later for insurance or compliance.
CCTV footage
This one is specific to our trade and worth stating plainly. When we install a CCTV system, the footage is yours, not ours. It is recorded on equipment you own, at your premises, and we do not retain copies.
If we access your system during installation or a support call, it is only to configure or fault-find it. As the system owner you are responsible for meeting your own obligations around surveillance, signage and how footage is used — we are happy to talk through what that means for your site.
Who else sees your information
Enquiry emails are delivered through our web host and email provider. Aside from that, your details stay with us.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 0417 524 606 or send us a message through the contact form and we will sort it out.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
